here are a couple of lo's of pics from this Christmas. dd and sil got mostly stuff for their kitchen.

This is of dd when she was about 4 years old. She loved to rub soft things on her face, and this stocking is super soft.

Did this LO with the new BPM kit. Out of desperation we used You Tube to learn how to use a swiss army knife to open a can. Worked too!

we made it through a very busy week. Ds had two performances this week of two different plays. Monday and Tuesday he had dress rehersals back to back for both of them each day. Thursday was the performance of "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" and it was a great success. Got lots of good pictures as the lighting for the play was good for photography. Hamlet was Friday. It also went well. No pictures though because the stage lighting was pretty dark.
Dh is in Oklahoma right now as his step mother is in a coma after having a simple surgery. Not sure exactly what happened yet.

We often scrap the first time our children do something, but seldom do we get to scrap the last time. This is the last visit ds had with Santa. He was 8. I used the Swirlydoos kit for this LO.

I wish the lighting was better on this one. The colors are much prettier and richer in real life.

This is my project for the Practical Scrappers challange this week, acrylic paint. I mixed blue and green paint to get just the right hue I needed for the flourish and scallop edge. I also painted the letters. Check out the Lo's this week.http://www.practicalscrappers.com/

today is Nov 8th. and with these four LO's I have 10 for the month so far.

When I saw this PP with the flying birds and the photo of my kids with the birds, I thought this is the perfect combo for a LO with the theme "you make my heart sing". Love how the webster's pages card has a heart made out of musical score.
She still loves to talk is of me.....and yes I do...so call me! Ha!

This one was lots of fun to make. I got to play with paints. Love to do these collage style LO's. Don't do them as often as I should I guess.

This is my LO for practical scrappers this week. The challange was to use three different ribbons on a LO. I really do have a huge stash of ribbon. I have to start using it more.

New month new goal. Just 30 for this month. With the holidays coming up I plan to spend more time making memories than scrapping them!

This one is from yesterday, and today I did one that I can't post yet as it is a challange for Practical Scrappers. That makes at least 57 LO's for this month. With the ones I could not post because they were for telephone scraplift and Practical Scrappers Challanges I have lost count.

This is my LO for Practical Scrappers challange this week to use fancy punches. It is of the kids playing monopoly at thanksgiving at my sister's....a yearly tradition.
One that has gone away as both my kids and hers have gotten grown up. I miss their squeals and gales of laughter.

Here are two for Saturday. "Family" is made from a recent Scarlet Lime kit. "See no evil" is made with an older Commit 2 Paper kit which was a gift to me from my friend Jen. Thanks Jen!

Spades? is a "shameless" scraplift from my friend Valerie. One, two turned out to be an embellishment sneeze. I fought the can....and the can won. A funny story now that was not so funny then.

This LO was made with one of those new Prima Stitched papers. I just added the photo, title and websters pages journaling card after inking it with pink ink. Love this paper.

"Love" was done with this month's Swirlydoo's kit.
Honestly I have lost count. I believe I am close to 40 lo's on the 21st.
