The top LO is made with Frosted Designs newest kit featuring Basic Grey Fresh Cut collection. The curled flower is also made from a flower making kit in the Fresh Cut collection that you can buy from the Frosted Designs store. The doily is from an older Frosted Designs kit.
The second LO is made with Beautiful Life by Echo Park which was in a past kit from Back Porch Memories. I used Liquid Glass (CTMH) on the blue heart stickers and covered them with clear micro beads. I really love this look. Be sure to check out the Scrapbook Blessing Club on FB. Thanks for looking.

Scrapbook Blessings Challenge-Love is in the Air

I also did this art canvas for the Scrapbook Blessings blog challenge called "Love is in the air". You are allowed three entries. The link for the challenge is here: http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/2014/02/challenge-12-love-is-in-air.html.This was made using pp from Bo Bunny collection called "The Avenues". I misted some dylusions mist onto a plate then misted that with water to tone down the blue color and painted it with a foam brush across the top section. I used lace and cloud punch outs from a doily for the clouds. I used liquid glass from CTMH to glue down the beads at the bottom and the flower soft I used for the lawn. The blue flowers are Prima. I used Lindy's stamp gang mist to mist the house itself. The windows and door are actually elements I cut from the pp. I also entered this into a challange here: http://sugarcreekhollow.blogspot.com/2014/02/79-love-and-adore.html at Sugar Creek Hollow blog.

Love is in the Air

This LO is for the "Love is in the Air" challenge over at Scrapbook Blessings blog which you can find here:
http://scrapbookblessings.blogspot.com/2014/02/challenge-12-love-is-in-air.html. This LO is my DD and SIL who are the happiest married couple I know. I am blessed to have a SIL like him.
I used kraft cardstock as my base. The pp is from a kit over at Frosted Designs. I used stencils that I cut with my cricut as well as a Prima stencil and one of feathers that I don't know the manufacturer. I used white acrylic paint and CTMH ink called Smoothie.I also inked the American Crafts letter stickers which were originally white. Try using stencils on plain cardstock to give your LO's some oomph!

Art journal page inspired by Sundays with Sandee at Frosted Designs. I cut the cup with Cricut, painted it with crackle paint to give it an old look and then painted over that with Liquid Glass from CTMH to give it some shine. The big alphas at the top are Heidi Swapp and the cork "and" is from Studio Calico. The alpha stamps are from CTMH.

here are a couple of recent cards I have sent to friends.

These also are from page maps sketches for the challange called Scrap that map at the FB group called Friends that Scrap.

Here are a few more recent LO's.

The first two use page maps sketches for inspiration,

Frosted Designs Winter blues challenge

I made this Lo with CTMH papers and embellishments and American Crafts letters. I made this based on a page maps sketch Feb 2014 and for the blue mood challenge at Frosted Designs blog which you can find here: http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/2014/01/friday-challenge-winter-blues.html
These photos are from the ice storm from the first weekend of Dec 2013 in Dallas TX. Yes, I said Texas. And it was not snow, it was solid ice.

Frosted Designs Kit challenge

This Lo is for the kit challenge over at Frosted Designs. You can find it here: http://www.frosteddesigns.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2014-02-06T00:01:00-06:00&max-results=30
I used watercolor paper to make the background paper. I really liked the backside of one of the pp, but I liked the front side more, so I decided to make background paper similar to that. I used watercolors, dylusions spray inks, tattered angels spray mist, and distress ink in lemonade. I used the juniper paint dauber with the stencil on the left edge and used the white gel pen to put little dots inside the other little dots made with the stencil. I also used the paint dauber to edge the patterned paper. I used the white gel pen to put the white diamonds inside the blue diamonds on the pp and to faux stitch around the wooden heart embellishments. I used the raspberry distress ink to color the wooden embellishments and the white flowers. This is DD on her 5th birthday. Thanks for looking.

Boy and Dog

Grandson and our dog Rosie having a good time.

Scrap our Stash Challenge

I made this page for the challange on Scrap our Stash. You can find the challenge here:http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/2014/02/stash-challenge-12-swak.html
I used washi tape, faux stitching, mostly red, arrows, and kraft accents. It is not easy to see the faux stitching in this photo but it is all around the patterned paper. I also used the sketch from "Stuck" which you can find here: http://stucksketches.blogspot.com/. Thanks for looking.
