The challange at Practical Scrappers this week is lace cardstock. Here is one I especially love. This girl is as pure as the driven snow, the sweetest personality, generous and kind and loving. The white on white was perfect to capture who she is.

October LOAD 16-20. Formal night pictures #2, yes, you have seen these photos before, but this one is for the other child's album.

These are LO's 12,13,14,and 15 for the Oct LOAD challange. I used some sketches from a site that Jen discovered. The link is on her blog. The one with the photo of me is onboard ship when we were on our cruise in Sept. I am looking old. I don't like it. I don't only look old, I feel old,and I like that even less. Studio Calico kit came today so I will be playing with that for LO's for tomorrow.

Here are LOADs 8,9,10,and 11. One is of our crazy cat Smoky on top of the refridgerator. One is of ds in first grade. He was so adorable. One is of dd in preschool. Again, so very adorable. Then one dd hates, one of her with short hair. This is the only time in her life that she ever had short hair. I am glad I am a bit ahead as I usually don't get much scrap time on the weekends.

Got some scrapping done this weekend. 5 more for the Oct LOAD challange. That makes 7 so far. Have to get ahead when I can. Two are kids birthdays, one is formal night on the cruise and one is baby pic of ds and the other if of dd at about three in her granny's kitchen licking the spoon(which I would not have let her done if I had been there).
Check out Practical Scrappers today for LO's using those decorative edge sissors I know you all have lying around somewhere! With scallops being an "in" look right now, those sissors can add updated pizzaz to your LO's.

I am participating in a LOAD challange this month at OSU. The nightly animals is for Oct 1 and this one is for Oct 2. Doing good so far, 2/2! YAY

Now on to more pleasant subjects. This is from our cruise. Every night our room steward would leave these cute little animals on our turned down bed with our nightly mints. They were made out of folded towels. It is a little thing, but just one of many little things that made the cruise more enjoyable. Thanks for looking!

Well, it is official. The pre-construction phase of the building of a new hotel complex monstrosity has begun. They are planting trees along the edge of the property to keep people out. Notice the orange cones in the road. Notice the wonderful tractor there that makes an obnoxious noise whenever it is moving backward (which is about half the time). Notice that the road in front of my house is very narrow and curved and they are blocking half the road most of the day. It is very hard to get out of my driveway now and I imagine it will only get worse.

The challange at Practical scrappers this week is to use transparencies. The bridal LO uses a transparency that a friend printed on her computer for me. The second one is part of an old Rhonna Farrar transparency. Hope you use your old transparencies this week and link to practical scrappers!

We returned from our cruise last night. It was a wonderful family vacation. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games and going to shows. The food was plentiful and good. I got throughly spoiled. I will soon have some new photos to scrap so watch for some new LO's.

All these projects are made with the Sept. Commit 2 Paper kit. "Paintball" is of my dd and sil all decked out to play paintball. The one of the zebra was taken at the wildlife park. The zebras were not shy at all. They came right up to the car and put their heads in. The card is based on the 2 Sketches 4 You Sketch this week.

These are photos of DD when she was about two years old. We took her for a modeling call and we got sample photos taken. She was a ham for the camera.
